Paintball Tournament Rules
The basic rules of paintball are you can choose a minimum of one person to be
the ref. The ref will be in charge of starting the game, stopping the game and
doing paintball checks and will be the final say on who stays in the game and
who must leave. Once the ref has started the game you must get to the opponents
designated area, once a player is hit by a paintball then he must come out of
the game. The paintball must break on his person, equipment of gun itself. When
you are called out by the ref as you leave the field you have to shout Out or
Deadman.
If a player is hit by a paintball and the paintball does not break then you can
remain the game. Only of the paintball breaks must you leave the game. If by
some strange coincidence two players are hit at the same time and the paintballs
break then both players must leave the game. If there are an questions as to who
must leave of whether of not a small paint smear will cost you a turn in the
game just call out Paint Check and the ref will come and check out the
situation.
Once a player reaches the designated flag the game is over. Before beginning the
game set up a game length and boundaries so you can manage the game a little
better. Paintball can be fun if everyone plays by the rules and everyone stays
safe.
